Chinmaya Mission Ottawa is thrilled to announce its latest theatrical production, Samatwam! This thought-provoking play will be presented in November during Swami Prakashananda’s yagna to Ottawa and will combine the timeless wisdom of Indian philosophy with a modern context.

Gharana Arts, established in 2005 by Ravi S. K. Singh and Kasturi Mishra, is a vital institution preserving and promoting Indian classical arts in Canada. Their partnership with renowned institutions like Prayag Sangeet Samiti (Allahabad) enables students to gain internationally recognized certifications, connecting Canadian practitioners with the global classical arts community.
This collaboration not only highlights Gharana Arts’ dedication to artistic excellence but also celebrates their unique approach of presenting traditional arts. The dancers of Gharana Arts bring a profound depth and authenticity to every performance, enhancing the storytelling with their professional training and dedication. Their expertise in Kathak allows them to convey complex emotions and narratives with clarity and precision, adding layers of meaning that resonate deeply with audiences.
