108 Samashti Shri Hanuman Chalisa Havan
Aug 22
$75

As part of Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav, Chinmaya Mission Ottawa will be joining Chinmaya Mission Centers across the world to host a sacred yajna in which the Hanuman Chalisa is chanted 108 times to invoke Shri Hanuman’s blessings for strength, courage and selfless service.
Through the power of collective chanting and sacred fire offerings, these Havans become a profound expression of spiritual commitment, cultural pride and universal oneness.
What is the Hanuman Chalisa? The Hanuman Chalisa is a 40-verse hymn composed by Sant Tulsidas, dedicated to Shri Hanuman, who is known for his courage and devotion to Shri Rama.
Why 108? It is said to represent the wholeness of existence — 1 for the self, 0 for completeness, and 8 for eternity.
