nama̍ste astu bhagavanviśveśva̲rāya̍ mahāde̲vāya̍ tryamba̲kāya̍ tripurānta̲kāya̍ trikālāgnikā̲lāya̍ kālāgniru̲drāya̍ nīlaka̲ṇṭhāya̍ mṛtyuñja̲yāya̍ sarveśva̲rāya̍ sadāśi̱vāya̍ śrīmanmahāde̲vāya̲ nama̍ḥ ||
My salutations to you Oh Lord Shiva,
Who is the Lord of the universe,
Who is the all-knowing light of consciousness
Who has three eyes, Who burned the city of three demons
Who governs the three periods of time,
Who is like fire,
Who is timeless and also destroyer of time
Who is blue-necked, who has won over death
Who is the Lord of all, always auspicious
Who is endowed with all wealth, the great Lord.
