Yā Kundendu-Tuṣāra

yā kundendu-tuṣāra  या कुन्देन्दु-तुषार

या कुन्देन्दु-तुषार-हार-धवला या शुभ्र-वस्त्रावृता ।
या वीणा-वर-दण्ड-मण्डित-करा या श्वेत-पद्मासना ।
या ब्रह्माच्युत-शंकर-प्रभृतिभिः देवैः सदा वन्दिता ।
सा मां पातु सरस्वती भगवती निःशेष-जाड्यापहा ।।

yā kundendu-tuṣāra-hāra-dhavalā yā śubhra-vastrā-vṛtā |
yā vīṇā-vara-daṇḍa-maṇḍita-karā yā śveta-padmāsanā|
yā brahmācyuta-śaṅkara prabhṛtibhiḥ devaiḥ sadā vanditā |
sā māṁ pātu sarasvatī bhagavatī niḥśeṣa-jāḍyāpahā ||

May Goddess Sarasvatī  – who is fair like the jasmine-colored moon, whose pure white garland looks like frosty dewdrops, who is adorned in radiant white clothes, on whose beautiful palm and arm rests the vīṇā, whose throne is the white lotus, and who is surrounded and respected by the Lord in the forms of Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Śivā – protect me.  I beseech Her to remove all my laziness and sluggishness.
